Mood & Anxiety Disorders

Mood disorders such as depression, bipolar, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) lead to emotional ups and downs, persistent low mood, and difficulty with motivation.

Anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and phobias manifest as experiencing fears and worries that impact your ability to move through the world with courage.

Emotional dysregulation and worrying can be disruptive and distressing because it can make it hard to take care of yourself, do the things you want to do, and connect with others. To work through mood and anxiety disorders in therapy, we ask that you have an openness toward change and curiosity around your current ways of thinking, behaving, and feeling.

We can help you find ways to tap into routines and actions that fill up your cup, as well as learn to disentangle from your worries and fears and learn where they come from.
